Description: L.E.A.D. is a 4-week wellness experience to share with a family member or friend. Each class includes culinary demonstration, meal preparation, nutrition education, diabetes management, socialization with classmates, and a fun fitness activity! Class meets Tuesday evenings 5-7pm from May 23-June 6. Cost is $40/2 person team. This includes meals, and handouts.

 May 31, 2017 - Knit Dress Sewing Workshop
Description: Learn techniques and tips for sewing with knits to create the latest styles. Pattern fitting to flatter body shape will be taught. Taught by OHCE member and former FACS teacher, Sue Schmidt. Participants will need knit fabric (2-1/2 yards) and notions. Call Garfield County Extension to register. Class is free, but size is limited to 10 participants. Bring sack lunch.

Description: Divorcing and separating couples will benefit by learning techniques to transition into their new "co-parenting" lifestyle and by learning effective strategies to promote their children’s healthy adjustment to their parent’s separation. This class also satisfies the court mandated requirement for divorcing/separating couples and those seeking custody, visitation or paternity of minor children in Oklahoma. Cost is $35. All registrations must be paid and turned in to the Extension office at least 3 business days prior to the class.
