 June 27, 2017 - FIJI-THE ETHNIC EXPERIENCE
Description: In June 2016, seven members of Stephens County Sunshine OHCE traveled to Sote' village in Fiji to teach pattern reading and other sewing skills to the village women. They also made and donated 15 girls' school uniforms and 15 boys' uniforms. They will share their adventure to discover a different culture and learn what life is like form the women of Sote' village.

 July 20, 2017 - Co-Parenting for Resilience
Description: Co-Parenting for Reilience: Helping Parents Help their Children. Divorcing and separating couples will benefit by learning techniques to transition into their new "co-parenting" lifestyle and by learning effective strategies to promote their children’s healthy adjustment to their parent’s separation. This class also satisfies the court mandated requirement for divorcing/separating couples and those seeking custody, visitation or paternity of minor children in Oklahoma. Cost $30.00 per person. Must register by July 18, 2017.

Description: The purpose of the class is to provide opportunities to improve financial management skills and to gain knowledge about financial opportunities for individuals and families. The goal is improve financial management skills (maintaining and balancing a checking account and maintaining a household spending plan) and for individuals to gain confidence in managing finances for their families and themselves. Registration is $30 and is due by July 26, 2017 to the Grady County office.
