Participant
Enrollment Options
The long-term program provides
thorough and in-depth education for interested families committed to
improving their health. Families completing this program become masters of
meeting their nutrition needs and managing their resources. These families
become role models to neighbors and relatives. They see themselves as
life-long learners and recruit other families to participate in CNEP.
Families receive a comprehensive certificate of completion for:

6 to 11 months of participation |

Completion
of a minimum of 16 lesson topics |
 |
Improvement
in 2 areas of the food recall and 2 behaviors of the CNEP Survey |
The short-term program provides
focused intensive education for mobile families and/or families enmeshed in
change. Families completing this program gain critical survival skills to
meet their specific nutrition and resource management needs. These families
become seekers of additional information and education programs as their
lives become more stable. Families receive an introductory certificate of
completion for:

2 to 5 months of participation |

Completion
of the following lesson topics: |
Fix it Fast, Eat at Home; MyPyramid; Plan, Know
What’s for Dinner; Shop, Get the Best for Less; Shop, Get the Facts;
Fix it Fast, Fix it Safe; Making Smart Breakfast Choices; and Eat
Smart, Eat More Fruits & Vegetables
