Ask The Specialist

Is the bleaching that is done to some grains bad for us?

No. There are no residues remaining in the flour after bleaching.
Bleaching originated because of the public demand for a whiter
flour. Recently, public preference has switched to a more "natural"
color of flour and, therefore, bleaching occurs less frequently.
