Red Beans and Rice
(Makes 6 servings:) Ingredients:
-
1/2 cup onion, chopped
-
1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
-
1 clove garlic, chopped
-
1 cup red kidney beans
-
2 cup cooled rice
-
1 can tomatoes
-
1/2 pound lean ground beef
Preparation Instructions:
Brown ground beef, add onions and bell pepper cook until clear. Drain. Add
the rest of the ingredients and cook over low heat until most of the
liquid is gone.
