Mandarin Salad

Dressing:
-
2 tablespoons sesame oil
-
2 tablespoons rice vinegar (not seasoned rice
vinegar)
-
2 tablespoons sugar
-
1/2 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder, optional
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
-
Dash hot pepper sauce
Salad:
-
8 cups mixed salad greens
-
3/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries
-
1 cup thinly sliced celery
-
1 green onion, sliced
-
1 11-ounce can Mandarin oranges, drained
-
1/4 cup chopped pecans
-
In a medium bowl whisk together salad dressing ingredients until
well blended.

Combine all salad ingredients except pecans in a large bowl. Pour
dressing ingredients over salad. Toss gently. Sprinkle pecans over
tossed salad.
Yields
