Dear
Extension Educators, FCS:
Recently you
were queried by your District Program Specialist about how you use
and would like to receive the Resource Update. The Resource Update
and its format is the result of a request by members of the FCS
Advisory Board. Several years ago a number of Specialists
disseminated newsletters on a periodic basis. FCS Educators found
themselves cutting out articles to file and save for future
reference. The FCS Advisory Board members asked for resources that
would come to FCS Educators on a regular basis on a variety of
topics, printed on one side and coded according to the Uniform
Filing Guide for easy filing. This is just one way the State FCS
Specialists are trying to provide you with a variety of useful
resources.
Some of you may
be unfamiliar with the Uniform Filing Guide. If so, refer to your
Program Planning Guide under Program Development Resources. In
addition to the Resource Update, other resources sent to you by
State Specialists should be coded according to the Uniform Filing
Guide.
Your suggestions
for improving the Resource Update are always welcome.
Sincerely,
Lynda Harriman
Associate Dean/Assistant Director
