Dear
FCS Educators:
This Resource Update provides research abstracts
which should be filed according to the Uniform Filing Code found in the upper
right hand corner of each abstract.
The purpose of these abstracts is to provide you with research based
information that may be of use in preparing teaching materials, or developing
newsletter articles. If some are
not of immediate use to you, I encourage you to file them for future reference.
Your FCS Specialists have also included news
releases for your use and a list of upcoming events that may be of interest to
you.
Thanks to each of you who worked at the national
conference in Oklahoma City in early November to make NAE4-HA the extremely
successful conference that it was.
The teamwork was evident and made Oklahoma Cooperative Extension look
like the great organization that it is.
I wish each of you a
wonderful holiday season. Thanks
for all that you do to keep Family and Consumer Science programs strong and in
the public eye.
Sincerely,
Lynda Harriman
Associate Dean/Assistant Director
